About UsThe Bulldogs Football program consists of a three town tri-op comprised of students from the towns of Stafford, Somers, and East Windsor. Stafford High is the host school and has a long history. The team began in 1930 and was disbanded in 1951. In 1979 the program was brought back. In their first season they played as an independent school. In 1980 Stafford was a charter member of the Pequot Football Conference along with Putnam, Griswold, Windham Tech, and and Somers. Since 1979 the Bulldogs have been on their own, and had co-ops with E.O Smith, Somers, and East Windsor. The Bulldogs compete in the CIAC's Class S division.
